Stairs vs. Elevator ~~~ Focused Consciousness vs. Zombie Autopilot

Can You complete the sentence of the stairs?
<<<

It seems to me that society has established escalators to make things easy, to make things effortless. Easy, Effortless moves to the rhythm of the comfort zone.

I had just finished a conversation with a client about anxiety, and the comfort zone. He was struggling with the dilemma of riding the escalator or taking the stairs.

He was stuck with negative self-esteem from experiences in his youth and had a supportive family – Escalator condition, mindless, effortless

When I came out of the office I noticed these words on the stairs leading to the next floor.
Powerful words almost counterintuitive as least in contemporary society consciousness.
Success requires taking the steps. No escalators enable movement to success. The last word left out ... it is because the stairs, the path requires us to fill in the blanks?

What are the steps? Are the steps to success hidden?
How do we open the portal (1) to the steps to success?

I think the steps to success are hidden most of the time by the incredible overwhelming flow of mass marketing noise.
This mass marketing consists of societal organizations, religions or companies that emphasize difference, possession, control, hierarchy. These items make up noise that conceals the steps to personal growth, to finding oneself, to radiating one’s talents.

The analogy of the steps reflects the challenge of our movement toward our higher self.
The first step is to connect with ourself,
to value ourself,
to care for ourself,
to find our unique talent.

Finding oneself, starts with the journey within.
From a quiet place, before the steps, focusing on our breathe, enables contact with the voice of our inner self. When we connect with our inner self, a second voice blends in, the Voice of Source Energy that which we call God, Allah, etc.
Once we have connected with these two inner voices, our path and our talents emerge. Once these paths and talents emerge the message takes a different form.

Like the start of the “Mission Impossible” TV series says “Your mission should you chose to accept it, …” It is on you, not the world situation, not another person … it is on you to radiate your talent and boldly move on your mission. Like the stairs, moving on your mission requires effort to move toward your highest potential.

Portal … a technological or magical doorway that connects two distant locations separated by spacetime.
