Alignment An Important Tool for Prosperity

In today’s world agitation, pointing fingers, problems in general, or anything that is worthy of complaining about seem to be pushed into the news stream that is fed to hungry readers. It seems there is a rush to be able to bring this news as quickly as possible to the public. It is reportage; it is reactionary. Even when the reporting seems to mirror what is happening elsewhere, the events appear fragmented. All of this suggests things are terrible in the world. The world is full of problems, full of negative issues.

Do we feel that our life, finances, relationships, health are also worthy subjects worthy of complaining?

Perhaps what gives these negative observations so much power is that we, on a personal level, are not in alignment with our true nature.

Could it be that the world is in the best shape it has ever been in?

Could it be that the potential to have a “mind boggling Joy filled great day” is within our power?

I would like to suggest some tools to help us have a “mind boggling Joy filled great day.”

President Leadership Roundtable

Last night, Ralph was elected President of the Leadership Roundtable Toastmasters Club in District 46. He and the other newly elected officers will be inducted at their next meeting on July 11th. He will serve as President for the 2011 ~ 2012 Toastmaster Year. Ralph is looking forward to help his Club grow and offer leadership for other clubs in District 46.

Tragedy in the life of a Photographer

Signs were brewing from last Monday, my MacBook Pro laptop computer and Adobe Lightroom were working slowly, very slow compared to usual. This was happening while I was processing a large quantity of Raw files. Couldn't figure what the problem was? Then Thursday night disaster struck.

Anne Lai and Winnie Mou and their team have worked hard for several months developing a bi-lingual Mandarin - English Toastmasters Club which finally came into being last night. Their officers were sworn in and installed by District Governor Steve Chen. They are a great group and the best of good fortune to them. A f2.8 Lens or a f4~5.6 Lense Which is a better Choice?

For many photographers, there is a debate about whether to invest in a f2.8 fixed aperature lense or a variable f4~5.6 lense.

Recently, I had to chose between a fixed f2.8 zoom (70mm-200mm), a fixed f4 zoom (with slightly shorter reach... max 105mm), or a variable aperture f4-5.6 zoom (with greater reach ... max 300mm).  For me the choice became very clear at a recent shoot.

Last evening, I went with a friend of mine, to see "The King's Speech." It is based on King George the VI's stuttering and difficulty with Public Speaking. The story was more than a commentary on a member of royalty with a speaking problem. It was a multidimensional story of Relationships.
