Review of Don Gabor's Book on Conversation and making Friends

Review of:
How to Start a Conversation and Make Friends  By Don Gabor

In my emotional energy workshops I teach that we are social emotional beings. Emotional beings are energy beings. As energy beings, it is important to let the energy between us flow. I help people develop their emotional energy skills and help them build relationships on different emotional energy levels because they are vital elements to help us achieve happiness and prosperity.

As a child and later as a young adult, I was shy and emotional constricted. It was not easy for me to bridge conversation and establish new relationships. As I grew and began to open up I have leaned to let go of patterns that I established within my family dynamics. I am having fun exploring new, open patterns of exchanging energy in a positive sharing way.

I discovered Don Gabor’s book as a result of

Emotional Energy from a biological perspective

I reread Bruce H. Lipton’s, The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter & Miracles.
His book is intriguing because it approaches the concept of Emotional Energy that I use in my consultation, workshops and photography from a biological perspective.

I talk about Emotional Energy on three levels: 1) Physical, 2) Intellectual-Emotional and 3) Spiritual- Source levels. Dr. Lipton’s perspective starts from his work at the cellular level.

His life had a paradoxical twist.

I Won 1st Place in Toastmasters Area 25 International Speech Contest

I am happy to report that I won 1st Place in Area 25 Toastmasters International Speech Contest. My talk was, "Sunday morning, the Question, the Journey."

I talked about integrating my passion for helping people to heal, to connect with their inner purpose, and enjoy life and my passion for capturing the Emotional Energy of a person, event, cityscape, landscape or abstract colors in photography.

My talk was well received by the audience. Now on to the Division contest in May.

My girlfriend Gwen Perez took the above photos of my presentation.

"Sunday morning, the Question, the Journey" at Toastmasters Area 25 Contest

Tonight, I will be a contestant in Toastmasters Area 25 Contest.
I will be presenting my talk "Sunday morning, the Question, the Journey," to the group of Toastmasters and their guests.

My talk will highlight my choices when I experienced a dilemma in my life. I will use my experience and photography to show how I combined two seemingly divergent paths.
I have over 30 + years of experience using emotional energy helping people to overcome obstacles and move toward their bliss, connect with their career and improve their relationships.
In my work with Emotional Energy, I have used photography as a tool to capture emotional energy of people, events, nature, cityscapes, and abstract colors to help people put their thinking and emotions in a good feeling place. Being in a good feeling place is a pre-requiste to heal or make significant changes in a person's life that are consistent with their essence.

The contest will be
Tonight, March 12th, 2013, at the
SSMA Club on 283 Lexington Avenue between 36th/37th St's.
Start time is at 6:30pm,

Guests are Welcome

Photo Shoot in East Harlem

Today, I will be doing a photo shoot of children's art work at a Settlement House in East Harlem.
The students work may be used in the material to promote the organizations Street Fair in May. The photographs will also document the Settlements House inclusion of the children in the community as an important asset of the community.
I will be using my skills as a photographer to emphasize the emotional energy of the students artwork. Emotional Energy is essential in any creative endeavor.
I am excited to help promote the artwork of the students in the East Harlem Community.

Response to "Dealing with Difficult and Aggressive Students"

Today, the Academic Dean at Globe Institute of Technology told me "I'm hearing rave reviews of how outstanding your presentation "Difficult and Aggressive Students - Transforming Boundaries" was yesterday. Everyone is giving glowing reviews of your presentation and telling me how they enjoyed it.  The professors who attended indicated they had a better understanding of what energies might be driving difficult or aggressive students and how to work with them. On behalf of the school thank you for your presentation. The Dean reported that the professors said 'as a professional speaker Ralph knows how to make his presentation engaging and interesting."
