Wandering ~ Storm Chasing

 I came across an interesting video of a photographer who chases storm clouds .. .

Shortly after, I came across a storm cloud 

on the Hudson River, in NY.

The photographer at the beginning of the video mentioned a quote by his wife
“Not all who wander are lost … some are just storm chasing."

On a simple level, the “storm chasing” referred to her husband chasing and photographing storm clouds.

On a deeper level, it seemed to focus me on wandering without being lost ... Just chasing the adventure of life.


Someone I recently spoke to, said “I can do many things well, … but I don’t know where my heart wants me to go.” She was talking about changing careers. 

This person like many of us are at a pivot point in their life. 
Perhaps, this wandering comes about due to certain goals, or relationships undergoing a radical change. We might feel we are wandering or adrift in a swirling whirlwind of possibilities.

The question is do we dare to “storm (adventure, experience) chase?” 
Do we dare to follow our heart into new adventures, new relationships?
If we look out from our perspective, 
we may see chaos, contradictory seductive possibilities.

If we look within, we can find the path, and
know that it will lead to joy.
Wandering struck me as being open, receptive, searching.
Storm chasing involves

 taking a risk
 allowing our desires to emerge from inside via breathing meditation
 Hearing our internal voices ~ Our spirit or essence

and Source Energy (God)
 having Faith that Source energy will guide us on our journey
 that our heart (feeling energies and thinking energies) will assist us in finding the direction that we are passionate about, that we feel in our heart.

Storm (adventure ~ desire) chasing is where our heart is. 
Storm chasing (adventure ~ desire) is where our excitement is. Where our passion and joy are.
Storm (adventure ~ desire) chasing is where we need to be.
