Morning Reflection:
Fascinating how we have a "Snooze" button on our alarm in the morning!
We have the option to hit the "snooze" button for a "moment" of "extra" sleep/rest and yet the very device that we chose to set is called an "Alarm."
Hmmmmm.....Irony?!?
Alarm from what? ....Typically we set an alarm when there is danger right? We set the alarm so we don't miss out or ensure we maximize the day?
I just read an article from a Dr. that talked about what needs to happen prior to starting a new "Diet" or what I will call "Life Style." The first step she says is to "PAUSE!"
Pause for 48 hours........interesting right? She goes on to leave us with the thought to think out what we are about to do prior to just taking action.
Realize an adjustment needs to me made, create a plan, and I would add to it that you must also know WHY you are doing it.
Whether you're dealing with a situation or starting a new diet, fitness, side hustle, relationship, trip or whatever take a moment and PAUSE.
It's easy to get "lost in the sauce"
but remember you are the cook.
You get to decide the ingredients you put into the recipe that creates your results for the day/month/year.
Don't have FOMO ("Fear of Missing Out",) but ensure you live on purpose.
We have work, families, and many more external demands in our life many of which we can't control. A question I am asking myself this morning of which I share with you to ask yourself is "What can I control?"
Don't "Snooze" on your potential!
Ensure to take care of yourself but let's not fail to utilize our greatest blessing which is the current moment, day and life that we have.
