Ripples & the Duck

Ripples flowing
Vibrations intermingling
Colors - patterns

Moon & Branches

text & photograph
© Ralph M. Ferraro,  2014, RmfTop@gmail.com

Got out early
by the pond
Pondering relationship
fracture ~ Blockage ~ Breakage
Direction unclear
Mission unclear

Moon peeping thru trees
Branches - patterns on the moon
Music interrupted
out and moving toward the moon
Moon shining bright
Obstacles branches
Become patterns of beauty
on the moon

Days ago,
Student stressed
Mirrored in the face
Stop
Listen
Breathe,
Rhythm of the breath
Everything else nothing
Just rhythmic breathing

Student face
Different mirror
Healing
Pivot - renewed
Calm - actively engaged

Days later
Student ~ thank you
Me ~ for what
Student ~ you know for what
No words
No intellectualized constructs
unspoken feeling energy
Resonating, communicating
Healing, Two as One
Just smiles

Branches
Obstructed view
Stress
Transform

Moon shining bright
Obstacles ~  branches
Become patterns of beauty
On the moon

Reflections - What do we see

Reflections - Ripples - What do we see
Small patches
large expanse in front
Small patches
down to the right
Ripples - movement
Reflections - What do we see

Prints - Imprints
Possibilites

Trees
Lines - Movement
possible directions
Do we explore
Do we activate
Do we engage
Beauty seen
Beauty unseen
Our vision
Our thinking
Breathing
Feeling rhythm
Connecting
Be open
Be ready
Accept
Transform

Christmas Day 2012

Poem © Ralph M. Ferraro 2012

Hustle, Crowds,
Lights, Sales
Killings - worldwide
thoughts of Apocalypse

4 days after end
Christmas morn
world spins
Sun's up

The Pond

The Pond
(Poem and photographs © Ralph M. Ferraro 2012)
Gray, flat
Colorless
Cool, wet

Rambling
So flat
Dull

Observing, looking
Color emerging
Browns, branches
Clear, water
Reflections

A leaf or two
Deep reds, greens
Light greens, yellows

Round, crowns
Branches, drops

The particular expanded
Mirrored in the pond

Hidden gems
Color amid flat gray

Easy to see the dull
The flat
Routine
Lifeless, boring

Patterns, textures the leaf
Reflections, the larger image
Do we see
Do we pass by

Experience
The bland, the dull
Color – shapes – patterns
Life offers both
On which do we dwell

Friday Rose Sky

Friday Rose Sky

© Ralph M. Ferraro

Beautiful Sunrise
Rose filtered across the sky

Didn’t have my camera
Wasn’t in position oh …
Beautiful clouds, sun, light
Thank You for being
