TidBits from Les Brown's workshop

Les Brown has had a number of challenges to overcome in his life to achieve the success that he is experiencing.

Some of his key advice includes:

  1. Never tell a story without a point and never tell a point without a story.
    1. a story builds a bridge to the person or audience
    2. it is a non-threatening way to engage the audience.
  2. He also believe in walking the walk - if you are going to suggest strategies to a person he believes You need to experience the experience -
    1. if is what you learn from your experience that can be helpful to others
Let me know what you think of these points or if you have any questions.

  1. What a great thought! Les Brown is so motivating that I don't skip even a single word of his speech. I wish to meet him personally someday and discus more about world's unemployment problems and other similar issues. They need to be dealt soon by all of us.
