Anxiety ~ The Wall
The Wall
Anxiety can cause the person to feel like they are facing a wall. It gives the person the fear that they will not be able to function if they try to go over, under or through the wall.
How does a person break through this wall of anxiety?
Emotional Energy
I suggest that thinking and emotional energy is the key to moving through the wall.
I believe we are energy beings that is manifested through levels of consciousness. Two tools that we have as emotional energies are 1) Thinking energy and 2) Feeling (emotional) energy. By using our thinking and emotional energies we can invalidate elements of the wall (fears-lack of faith- lack of confidence) that the wall inspired.
As we begin connecting with our deepest level of consciousness we regain a connection with our inner self. Once connected with our inner self we can transcend fear and negative feelings about our abilities. When we connect with the energy part of ourselves, we transcend the physical. In essence we connect with all the energies of life.
Silence ~ Breath ~ Nature
How do we connect with our inner most levels of consciousness.
The tools to connect seem to have been cast to the background in our society that always seems to be racing, competing, looking for the physical markers.
The race is for companionship with another or for financial reward. Problem is we start with relationship to the other.
The issues of relating to oneself is cast to the side.We seem to be willing to jump into a relationship with someone else before we have even defined ourself.
Some of the parents see themselves as the lover, and the therapist. A lover is a team mate, each person had to invest in their own growth before entering a relationship with another person.
Someone who tries to be both a lover ~ parent and the therapist for the other person. This dynamic creates an imbalance not a team.
To help the other person heal, the other person must explore themselves prior to entering an intimate relationship. They must seek out people and situations that allow them to experience life with both thinking and feeling energies.
After they have healed their perceptions and view of themselve they can continnplate forming an intimate relationship ~ Team.
The Self
Our thoughts seems to overshadow the path to connect with ourself. It is as if we are looking through the distorted mirrors of the crazy house at the amusement park
We can overcome anxiety by using our thinking and feeling energy to discover who we are. The discovery can only be done in silence … in allowing ourselves to be.
We are, ie we exist, but we are also becoming. Being (existing) and becoming (changing) are true whether we accept it or not.
The journey to know who we are starts with a basic element… taking deep breathes …6 deep slow breaths …. Allowing our mind to be. Allowing the mind to be also allows the mind to be becoming ( ie growing developing)
In the quiet we need to listen to our inner voice. The inner voice of our Conscious emotional energy. It is a gentle voice. This gentle voice can transcend misinformation or misinterpretation from the past.
Conscious Letting go ~ correcting
It can see - acknowledge and let go of items from the past.
As we breath if we can hold the silence, we can begin to see what our talents are … what we are passions are about.
From these insights we can begin to discern a path for ourselves both in career and in relationships
Nature walk ~
becoming one with Nature
Another technique to connect with our inner selves is to walk in nature, find a spot to sit and become intimate with the sounds and sights of nature; movement of the clouds, the water, the breeze.
Many people feel much better after use of these exercises
Anxiety is less of an issue for them.
These are two of the techniques that I use with people who are suffering from anxiety
