Stress and anxiety are hot topics these days.
I came across some recommendations from the MayoClinic health system.
The initial part of the article described how anxiety or stress may manifest in our lives.
More interesting, the 2nd half of the article mentions techniques to deal with stress and anxiety.
Some of the recommendations include selfcare
Getting sleep - eating well ~ not using substances to control us
Other techniques which we include in our practice
Exercise should always be discussed with your Rehab treatment person or treatment team

Elbow bends (While seated)
Arm reaches
Knee lifts
Kict outs
Ankle pumps
Breath work - 6 deep breaths - be silent for 5 to 20 min - just being receptive
using a journal
Physically writing about your reflections
Always start with positive affirmations about yourself
Allow positive thoughts or feelings to manifest in your consciousness
if you have a therapist discuss the elements of your journal
Walking in nature
Be observant
Notice the waves of the water
Notice the change in shape of the clouds
Use your camera or phone to photograph any unusual or beautiful patterns in nature
These images can be recalled when You are having a rough day and be a source of reminder or inspiration to move toward your well being

To fulfill your purpose you must love yourself first
genuine self love is the key toward your finding your purpose and fulfillment
