On my way into Manhattan on Sunday …

I was greeted by a special visitor

The White Dragon …

Coming to signal good fortune

As I leave one work setting …

And move into a new setting in New York.

As I gazed upon the Dragon, I was impressed …

Since I decided to travel light

I didn’t have my Olympus with me

Power lines were in the way

So at first I didn’t think of photographing the unusual visit

The White Dragon so charged my emotions

That I had reached for my phone and 

decided to honor my friend

The White Dragon, a gift from God

By capturing it with my phone
