Thoughts of a therapist

I am a therapist

not the usual therapist

I don’t use the terms of the current diagnostic manual

I don’t study the person from the outside and try to readjust the inside.

My style is a combination of the Ancient Greek method, Asian (yin yang) and the modern quantum method.

The ancient Greeks

used the term psychotherapy differently than it is used today. According to the Greeks, the term psycho refers to the soul, the essence of the person. Therapy meant healing. Therapy for the Greeks was healing the soul, the internal essence of the person.

The Asians focused on the beauty of nature, the balancing of the energies: heavenly, earthly and human (person with a soul, inner essence)

Quantum energy perspective focuses on breath, mindfulness, positive and negative energy. It restores control of a persons path to their inner essence, their mental energy and their emotional energy.

Some therapists only deal with the mental  and the emotional  energy.

They omit the spiritual dimension.

The spiritual dimension is not connected to a formal religion.

It is a direct connection to the energies of Source Energy.

Breath and Spirit

The ancient hebrews used the same word for breath and for spirit.

I AM Who Am and I AM

The ancient Jews called g_d Yahweh “I Am Who Am.”

Soul healing involves the affirmation “I Am” an energy source.

It connects us with “I Am Who Am.”

When a person is stuck or in pain, it is important to consider all of the above elements.

Seed  within

It is important to discover the seed of talent given to us at birth,

the uniqueness that unfolds our purpose.

A persons task is to radiate the fruit of that seed

which will lead to fulfillment and happiness.

how did I capture this image.

My son, Thomas and I were returning home from a visit with a family member. We both commented about how beautiful the sunset was.

My camera was in my bag. Thomas suggested that I try to photo the sunset. There were challenges ~

We were traveling on the LI Expressway at about 60 mph ~ I hadn't realized how bumpy the LIE was on prior trips ~ suddenly I had to compensate for the rolling bumps on the road, In addition the sunset was obstructed by tall trees and utility poles. There were patches of open space.

I reached into  my camera bag, took out my camera and tried my best to capture the beauty of the sunset. I was grateful that I was able to capture this beautiful image, despite the obstacles.

Enjoy the view!!!
