Guilty until proven Innocent

Guilty until proven Innocent

Yes, this is not the statement from the American law systems which is a system unto itself.

For many people, however, it seems to be within the system of their psyche.

I was rereading
“Breaking the habit of being yourself” by Dr. Joe Dispenza and was struck by the above statement.
For many it seems that this formulation is active. This formulation is taught by or modeled by many of our societal organizations.

From my interactions with people, even in my own history, this formula seems to be very influential in terms of how we see ourselves.

To hold this formula as an operating principle is to lock ourselves into the patterns of our past experience. We keep obsessing about our mistakes or our hurts.

The dictum holds us in the past where we were taught to stick ourselves into a box, a negative energy box.

He explains that our past is an energy field that if repeated often enough in our mind, it becomes hard wired into our thinking and physical operation.

That negative energy box, inhibits our true nature, our ability to be creative, to be open, to be loving.

Dr. Dispenza, in his book challenges us to look past the negative energy box. He walks us through unwiring the negative self-talk. He explains how we can create more positive self-talk leading to more positive action.

The good news is that we don’t have to feed the “addiction” of guilt and negative thought and perspective. By changing our thinking and feeling to more positive paths for ourselves, we can change the feeling of being guilty to joyful creative exploration.

I encourage you to read "Breaking the habit of being yourself: how to change your mind and create a new one" by Dr. Joe Dispenza 2012

Let me know your thoughts on this topic or Dr. Dispenza's book.
