Last night gave my TM ~ TO speech as part of the professional speakers manual to my Leadership Roundtable Toastmasters group.
TM = Transformative Movement
TO = Transitional Object
In short - Humor provides both a Transitional Object to help us sooth ourselves and others. It also creates space for Transformative Movement.
Transformative Movement allows us to check with our Emotional Guidance System, make choices, and move from what we don't want to what we do want.
This combo will allow us to deliberately create a path to our own joy and purpose.
